苹果也正在招募和google、facebook类似的社交游戏主管

据知名在线招聘网站the ladders的消息,位于旧金山Cupertino的苹果公司发出招募广告招聘主管全球休闲游戏和社交游戏方向开发者关系的工作人员,用以开拓和维护现有的软件应用程序开发者,提高IOS的应用程序开发。

If a freshly submitted job posting is any indication, Apple is looking to strengthen its relationships with current and future game developers. While it’s obvious already that the company is serious about gaming with the recent release of Game Center for iOS 4 devices, it seems now that Apple is keen on improving its interpersonal relations with mobile game developers.

With Google possibly in cahoots with several publishers, Zynga looking to improve its mobile games and Facebook attempting to improve its own games platform–not to mention it’s making beaucoup bucks from Facebook Credits in its social games–Apple cannot afford to sit idly on this golden opportunity. Whoever is lucky enough to score the six-figure gig will be known as Apple’s Casual Games and Social Networking Partnership Manager. According to the posting, the fortunate fellow will “be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing software developers, to promote application development, and to continue the delivery of world-class solutions and content on Apple devices.”

Worldwide Developer Relations – Partnership Manager, Casual Games and Social Networking segment

Apple is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join the Worldwide Developer Relations Partnership Management team. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing software developers, to promote application development, and to continue the delivery of world-class solutions and content on Apple devices.

The successful, qualified candidate will:

• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and transition strategic mobile products, solutions, and developers to deliver world class 3rd party products for Apple’s mobile platforms.

• Maintain current knowledge of the mobile industry and the competitive 3rd party landscape, with particular emphasis on the App-ecosystem in the casual gaming social networking segment.

• Work both independently and in close collaboration with Apple Technology Evangelism, others in Partnership Management, Product Marketing, iTunes, Engineering and senior management.

• Build internal and external relationships in order to effectively deliver Apple’s message to developers, whilst championing developer needs and issues within Apple.

• Maintain a high level of business expertise, combined with a strong understanding of the underlying technical competencies relevant to App development.

• Promote the adoption of the iPhone, iPad and Mac OS X SDKs and other development tools to 3rd party application developers.

• Attend appropriate industry conferences to stay current on trends and leverage outreach opportunities.

• Clearly communicate approved Apple product and marketing messages.

Required Experience:

• BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA or equivalent preferred.

• Cellular hardware, software or mobile consumer electronics experience highly desirable.

• Knowledge of mobile application development, developer support programs, and related marketing activities.

• Requires strong oral and written communication skills, combined with a mature, diplomatic approach.

• Knowledge of gaming and social networking industry trends and emergent technologies a plus.

• Experience and a demonstrable passion for all Apple platforms.

The position also requires excellent relationship and account management skills, aggressiveness, persuasiveness and the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization. The candidate must be self-directed and have a track record of showing initiative in outbound business development activities.
