1,It shouldn’t be surprising that not even a month after Microsoft purchased Minecraft developer Mojang, there is word that Minecraft: Pocket Edition will find a new home on the Windows Phone platform. “Yes, Minecraft: Pocket Edition *is* coming to the Windows Phone,” tweeted Jens Bergensten, the game’s lead developer.

That’s good news for Windows Phone owners, but don’t get too excited just yet. While the port is in running condition,”there’s still much to do before any release,” Bergensten wrote. So far, Bergensten has refrained from speculating any release window or target.(source:joystiq

2,Walt gets plenty of screen time in Valiant Hearts: The Great War, but no one’s going to blame you for wanting to see more of the adorable, four-legged sidekick. Fortunately, Valiant Hearts’ iOS breed of players have earned a related treat: according to the Ubiblog, an “interactive comic book” starring Walt and his sister will be offered for free on November 6 to anyone that purchases or already has Ubisoft’s emotional war story on iOS devices.

The comic book follows a canine contribution during the initial years of World War 1, with players helping the pair save lives and deliver messages via touch navigation. The blog post doesn’t mention the comic’s appearance beside the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 or PC versions of Valiant Hearts, so newcomers and veterans without tours in iOS territory are facing the same $4.99 price tag for now.

3,King is the king of video game TV ads, according to advertising metrics firm iSpot.tv. As reported by VentureBeat, the firm found King commercials have aired on US national TV in excess of 34,000 times in 2014 to date. Meanwhile, Microsoft has run about 7,500 commercials, and Sony has accounted for about 3,000 TV spots.

While the Candy Crush Saga company is trumping other gaming outfits on quantity of TV spots, its strategy is less focused on quality. Microsoft devoted its ad spend to expensive slots like prime time and in the middle of NFL football games, but King focused its ads on smaller cable networks. As a result, Microsoft managed to outspend King $66 million to $55 million while running a fraction of the ads.

Other big spenders for TV spots in 2014 have included Sony ($47 million), Supercell ($29 million), and Activision ($26 million). Big Fish Games and GameFly rounded out iSpot.tv’s list, spending $19 million each for US commercials this year.(source:gamesindustry
