基本要素：

玩家在每一个环节中的任务就是，将弹弓上的小鸟射向木制的堡垒，杀死猴子或者救出笼中的其他小鸟。

只要掌握了该游戏的真实物理控制系统，就可以让投射而出的小鸟击垮木片、撞碎玻璃、压倒堡垒。在每一个环节中，玩家最好找准这些堡垒的死穴，从其中最薄弱的一环下手，由此顺利闯关。

游戏攻略：

通过缩小和放大屏幕，你可以看到整个战场，然后就可以迅速判断弹弓与发射目标之间的距离，观察任何隐藏在屏幕中有助于提高攻击力的物品。

每只发射出去的小鸟都会在空中抛出一道弧线，如果它命中了目标，那你就可以依此轨迹继续发射，或者根据这个弧度适当调整方向，直到击中为止，这样我们就不需要费劲摸索准确的发射方向。

你并不需要总是从左到右进行发射：如果你瞄准的方向够高，那就可以让小鸟从天而降直击目标，这种方法非常适用于进攻外墙坚固，但屋顶不设防的建筑。

游戏邦在此要提醒各位玩家，一定要等到前一只已发射出去的小鸟彻底消失后，才能发动第二轮的攻击，否则后来的小鸟如果击中了前一个战友的残骸，那么你的攻击力就会被削弱。

要擅于运用增强弹力的物体，比如仓库里的橡胶圈和丛林中的蘑菇——它们可以加快攻击速度，或者让你到达难以接近的地点。

小鸟种类

红色小鸟

开启环节：游戏开始之初

这是最普通最具代表性的小鸟，但它们的威力和作用都不大，也不够强悍。

蓝色小鸟

开启环节：World 1，Level 6

威力：Clusterbirds （10个积分）

这种小鸟的威力在于，它们一次可以射出三只小鸟，你可以让它们各个突破，击中一系列目标，但最理想的状态是，让它们三者近距离出击同一个目标，发挥最大攻击力。

这样就你可以对构筑物造成最大的破坏性，一次出击就可以攻破坚固的壁垒。

黄色小鸟

开启环节：World 1，Level 11

威力：速度与激情（10个积分）

这种小鸟虽然极其神速，但碰到石壁和玻璃墙时的攻击力仍然有限。用这种小鸟进攻木头壁垒简直像捅破一层纸一样好用，这样你就可以闪电袭击敌人，让它们葬身于堡垒的废墟之中。

白色小鸟

开启环节：World 3，Level 6

威力：炸蛋（10个积分）

这是一种可在空中下蛋的小鸟，你轻按屏幕，就可以让这些小鸟在空中投下炸蛋，让猴子措手不及。小鸟飞得离地面目标越近，产生的破坏性就越大。

另外别忘了，如果你不让它们下蛋，这种鸟还可以当作经典的红色小鸟一样使用。

Blue和Jewl鹦鹉

开启环节：World 4，Level 15

威力：Birds of the Feather （10个积分）

这两者就是20世纪福克斯的动画电影《里约大冒险》（Rio）中的角色形象，它们在World 4最后一个环节才现身，主要使命是对付游戏中的第一个小鸟首领。

轻按屏幕可让这些小鸟以水平线冲向目标，在最后一个环节中，你可以让这些小鸟发挥神通广大之力，攻击小鸟首领，也可以让它们撞击后墙，引爆TNT箱子。

黄金果实

与《愤怒的小鸟》和《愤怒的小鸟节日版》一样，这款新游戏的每个环节也隐藏了一些黄金果实。它们的主题各不相同，在仓库里是金凤梨，但在丛林中则是金香蕉。下面就让游戏邦为大家指出它们的隐藏地点吧。

World 1，Level 2：这个金凤梨藏在屏幕上小鸟的左边，只要让任何一只小鸟退后去引爆这个箱子，就可以得到这个果实。

World 1，Level 6：上图箭号所示的这个箱子并没有用金属加固，上面还有一个可疑的标签，炸开这个箱子，就可以得到一个凤梨。

World 1，Level 7：这个凤梨隐藏在箱子堆下右侧的箱子里头，同样贴了个标签。向高空发射一只蓝色的小鸟，如果它准确着陆了就可以炸开这个箱子。因为难度较大，所以你可能得多次连击，才有可能炸开箱子。

World 1，Level 8：这个箱子藏在右侧的台阶，可以缩小或放大屏幕，以高空弧度发射一只小鸟开启这个箱子。

World 1，Level 12：这个金凤梨与一堆普通凤梨夹杂在一起，向高空发射一只黄色小鸟，让它直奔这个诱人的奖品。

World 1，Level 13：这个箱子隐藏在最右侧的角落，可以通过向高空准确发射小鸟，或者连发几只金丝雀，摧毁箱子堆，获得这个胜利果实。

World 2，Level 1：这个果实隐藏在弹弓上方来回摇晃的吊灯上，你得掐准时机，等吊灯荡到最近的距离时，向后上方发射小鸟击中目标。

World 2，Level 2：这也是个有标签的箱子，但它深藏在玻璃堡垒之下，所以你得多次发力，才能让发射出来的蓝色小鸟击中这个凤梨箱子。

Nab the Golden Pinapples and Golden Bananas

Welcome to Angry Birds Rio, Rovio and Fox Searchlight’s movie mash-up promo-game for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. This time around the pigs are gone, either replaced with cheeky, conniving primates or feathered friends that you need to rescue.

But other than that, the game is little more than a little more. There’s a handful of new stages, secrets, and structures for you to explore, unlock, and destroy.

And, as ever, Pocket Gamer is here with the definitive guide on how to do it all without pulling your hair out.

The Basics

Your job, on every single godforsaken stage, is to catapult a gang of kamikaze birds at the rickety wooden structures on the right of the screen to either kill the monkeys or rescue the birds (by slamming into their cages).

It’s all about harnessing the game’s realistic physics system to make wood splinter, glass smash, structures topple, and poorly designed tenements fall like houses of cards. Your best bet on each stage is to exploit weak spots and heavy load areas to make the levels fall in on themselves.

Remember: some materials are sturdier than others. It’s no use fruitlessly bashing away at a stone wall (especially because it takes about three direct hits to finally smash one) when you could focus on the easily destructible wooden platform that’s holding it up.

But while simply killing all the monkeys or saving all the birds will unlock the next level, if you want to get the maximum three stars on each stage you’ll need to aim for some high scores.

Getting a high score in Angry Birds Rio requires you to juggle deadly efficiency – unused birds net you an automatic 10,000 points each – and unrelenting damage – smashed objects give off small, but quickly accumulated points.

Additional Tips

Pinch and zoom to see the entire battlefield on one screen, so you can quickly see how far away your catapult is from the targets, and spy any helpful objects that were hiding off-screen.

Every bird leaves a trail of dust behind, meaning you can replicate (or slightly deviate from) previous throws without the tedious guesswork.

You don’t always have to attack from left to right: if you aim the bird high enough you can attack from above. Perfect for levels with fortified walls but exposed roofs.

Wait until your previous bird disappears. If you hit your last bird’s dazed body, your attack will be significantly dampened.

Use bouncy objects – rubber rings in the warehouse and mushrooms in the jungle – to get some extra speed or reach difficult places.

Attack TNT boxes whenever possible. These explosive boxes of boom will make entire sections of the level crumple in on itself.

Bird Types

Red

Unlocked: From the beginning

These plain old projectile birds are the archetypal mascot, but they’re a bit wimpy and useless. They won’t do anything when tapped, and they aren’t very tough either.

Blue

Unlocked: World 1, Level 6

Achievement: Clusterbirds (10 points)

These scattershot birds dissipate into three small projectiles when the screen is tapped.

Think of these little guys like a shotgun. You can make them separate early to hit a good range of targets, but ideally you want to release these fellows close to the target so all three birds will smash into a small area at once.

That’s how you inflict the most damage, and can wreck a sturdy wall with a single shot.

Yellow

Unlocked: World 1, Level 11

Achievement: Fast and Furious (10 points)

These kamikaze birds rocket at super speeds when you tap the screen.

Despite their greatly increased velocity, they still won’t do much damage on materials like stone and glass. They rip through wood like it’s wet paper, though, allowing you to quickly attack enemies buried deep within a structure.

White

Unlocked: World 3, Level 6

Achievement: Scrambled Eggs (10 points)

These are Egg dropping, maternal birds. Tap the screen to launch an explosive egg from your backside, before firing your now deflated friend into the stratosphere. Get

as low to the target as possible for maximum splash damage.

Don’t forget: these enemies can still be used as classic red-styled birds if you don’t tap. Useful if you just need a boring old projectile to finish the job.

Blue and Jewel

Unlocked: World 4, Level 15

Achievement: Birds of the Feather (10 points)

These long-necked pals are ripped directly from the movie, and only turn up in time to play World 4’s last stage, and finish off the game’s first boss.

Tap the screen to make these birds dart in a straight horizontal line. On that final stage, you can either use their mighty power to slam into the boss bird, or hit the back wall to drop down and detonate the TNT box.

Like the golden eggs in Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons, there are pieces of golden fruit hidden amongst the stages of Angry Birds Rio. They change from theme to theme, with golden pineapples in the warehouse and golden bananas in the jungle. Here’s our guide to finding and saving them.

Unfortunately, unlike the golden eggs, you’ll get nowt for snagging them, other than an achievement when you find all 15 of one type, and mad bragging rights among your buddies. Probably. Depends how easily impressed they are.

World 1, Level 2: This prickly fruit is hidden in a box to the left of your bird chums. Just fire any of your fowl friends backwards to smash the crate and save the fruit.

World 1, Level 6: There’s one wooden crate on this stage that stands out: it’s not reinforced with metal and it has a suspicious label stuck on its side. A pineapple is inside: smash it open to grab it.

World 1, Level 7: As before, this pineapple is hidden in a crate – at the very bottom right of the box stack – with a label. Fire a blue bird high in the air and if your aim is true it’ll land and smash the box. It might take a couple of hits to crack it.

World 1, Level 8: Another box, this time hidden at the far right of the stage. Pinch to zoom out, and then fire a bird in a high arc to crack the package open.

World 1, Level 12: This sneaky fruit is hanging out among the normal, totally non-golden pineapples in a crate on the far right. Fire a yellow bird up high and let it slam down into the sparkly treat.

World 1, Level 13: Another box, nestled in the bottom right hand corner of the stage. You can either chance it with a high, arcing loop or drill down through the crates with a few well-placed kamikaze canaries.

World 2, Level 1: This one is concealed in a hanging lamp above your catapult. Wait for it to swing into position, then fire a bird upwards and backwards into it.

World 2, Level 2: Another box with a label. This one’s hidden deep beneath some glass so you’ll need to take care of that before landing a well-placed barrage of blue bird fire on the pineapple’s box.

World 2, Level 4: This labelled box is on top of the right-most platform. A well-placed yellow bird (fired up in the air, and fire it’s turbo-booster immediately after launch) should snag it.

World 2, Level 6: This tricky one is hanging on a chain directly above the catapult, meaning it’s impossible to launch a bird directly at it. Instead, you’ll need to strike a hanging lamp so it swings back and slams into the pineapple. You might need to hit the lamp a couple of times to build up the momentum, but it can be done in one smash.

World 2, Level 7: Another box with a label, hidden underneath the main action. Get the main structure out of the way, and then slam into the box with a yellow bird to open it.

World 2, Level 8: Another box with a label. This one’s propping up the back part of the structure: either smash away the front building blocks to get a good shot, or fire a blue bird up high and hit the box on the way back down.

World 2, Level 10: Zoom out and you’ll see a golden pineapple hanging on a platform high above the main action. Send a yellow bird whizzing up there to grab it. Easy peasy.

World 2, Level 12: This one is hanging out in the open at the far right of the level, not even trying to hide. Fire your birds in an arcing shot and one should bounce

off the stage and drop on the pineapple.

World 2, Level 15: This box is to the left of the action, behind your birds and catapult. Fire a bird backwards (only pull back on the rubber a little so the bird doesn’t fly far) to break the crate and collect the pineapple.

World 3, Level 2: This golden banana is hanging out in a box at the far right of the screen. Fire a well-placed yellow bird to smash it open.

World 3, Level 3: Are you looking out for that telltale label, yet? There’s one on the tree leaf at the far right of the level: slam it with an arcing yellow bird to grab the banana treat inside.

World 3, Level 7: This one’s hidden in a bushy patch of grass on the far-right wall of the stage. An arced yellow bird should take care of the banana hidden within.

World 3, Level 9: If you look closely you can see this banana poking out from the tree on the left, directly below the birds and catapult. Fire a bird at the tree to smash the banana out.

World 3, Level 12: Another box with a cheeky label, this time hidden beneath the right-most structure. Kill it with birds.

World 3, Level 13: This one’s hidden in a box that’s on a platform, floating above the action. Nail it with a yellow bird to grab the yellow fatty bean inside

World 3, Level 14: No box or hiding place. Just a golden banana on the far right of the screen. Fire a yellow bird into the air, and smash it on the way back down.

World 3, Level 15: This one’s hidden in the grass on the far right of the screen. Use the extra speed-boost from your yellow or white bird to grab it.

World 4, Level 2: Another banana hidden in the grass on the far right of the screen. Smash it, young padawan. Smash it.

World 4, Level 4: This one is on the far left, behind the birds and catapult. You can’t see it, but there’s actually a wall off the left of the screen, which you can bounce a bird off to hit the ‘nana.

World 4, Level 8: An easy one – this golden banana is hidden in the patch of grass behind the birds, to the far left of the screen. Drop an explosive egg to grab it.

World 4, Level 11: This one is in the grass on the far right. It’s too far for any bird to hit, so you’ll need to fire an egg out your white bird’s rear end, or use a yellow bird, to get the necessary speed boost.

World 4, Level 14: This little ‘nana is hidden in a box on the far right of the screen. Use a yellow bird to smash it open.

World 4, Level 15: The final banana of this world is hidden in the grassy patch at the bottom of the screen, to the left of the bouncy mushrooms. Considering the maelstrom of birds, bombs and rocks, you’re likely to hit it during the carnage, anyway.（source:pocketgamer）
