Yahoo Japan Corp. and DeNA Co., a social network games provider, jointly unveiled a test site for personal computers, the companies said in a statement today.

When the site officially opens on Oct. 1, Yahoo! Mobage — which is an abbreviation for Yahoo Mobile Games — will offer about 100 games designed by 70 companies, according to the statement. The test-run was reported earlier today by Nikkei newspaper.

Yahoo Japan, the nation’s most-visited Internet portal, rose 1.8 percent to close at 29,610 yen on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. DeNA gained 0.6 percent to 2,714 yen. （source:bloomberg）
