作为迪士尼夏季电影《玩具总动员3》Toy Story 3的市场营销配套项目《玩具总动员3》手机版免费游戏自6月15日上线以来已经完成超过170万次的下载。

另外一款电影改编的手机游戏JellyCar 2自2009年12月推出以来也有超过100万次的下载量。

之前迪士尼以差不多3500万美元的价格收购了手机游戏开发公司Tapulous。该公司首席执行官Bart Decrem表示Tapulous具有很强的实力，但是迪士尼的强大背景能让他们在激烈的手机游戏行业脱颖而出。

Having proved it’s serious about iOS and smartphone business with its purchase of Tapulous, Disney has now revealed it’s been pretty successful prior to the deal too.

Since its release on June 15, to support the US launch of the animated film, its free Toy Story 3 game has been downloaded 1.7 million times.

Perhaps more impressive however is the news that the otherwise unbranded JellyCar 2 – which is only available as a 99c app – has been downloaded over million times since it was released in December 2009.
