Peter Vesterbacka told the Social Gaming Summit that Angry Birds will make the expected migration to console formats, alongside other developments such as a multiplayer version that will resemble ‘old school Worms’.

Generally, the Rovio team explained that it sees the game as a franchise, with toys, TV, and more platform spin-offs being negotiated.

The firm also confirmed that Angry Birds has sold 35 million so far, with five million free ad-funded downloads on Android.（source:mobile-ent）
