iPhone app discovery startup Chomp has announced that Ashton Kutcher has taken an advisory role at the company.

Yes, that’s the Ashton Kutcher, who combines his acting career with an increasingly prominent role as an investor in tech startups.

Kutcher will be Chomp’s second advisor, joining Digg founder Kevin Rose. According to Mashable, the pair will be helping Chomp to build relationships and flesh out its product and marketing strategy.

One thing we can say for sure: Chomp has made it to the first homescreen on Kutcher’s own iPhone. He has published a screenshot showing his favourite apps.

Besides Chomp, they include DailyBooth, Foursquare, Skype, Posterous, Kutcher’s own aplusk app, and a mysterious stealth app called Path.
