1，Kiloo announced today that its mobile game, Subway Surfers, has passed 1 billion downloads after three years on app stores. The Denmark-based publisher says that Subway Surfers is now the fourth-most-downloaded mobile game of all time. That makes the free-to-play endless-runner a big hit in a mobile market worth an estimated $30 billion this year, according to the researchers at Newzoo.

One billion downloads is a difficult milestone to hit. Subway Surfers now joins company with the notable mobile hit Angry Birds (which has over 2 billion downloads). King has a total of 3.1 billion installs across all of our games but declined to note how many its most popular, Candy Crush Saga, has to date.

2，The Sims team at Electronic Arts is getting a shakeup today.

Lucy Bradshaw, who oversaw the development of The Sims and all other games from developer Maxis, is leaving the company. EA chief executive officer Andrew Wilson announced the departure himself in a blog post on the company’s website. In addition to wish Bradshaw the best as “she takes on her next adventure,” he also made it clear that Maxis will continue working on The Sims 4 content and other projects.

The film, from Sony Pictures Animation, will be released in theatres nationwide on September 25.

4，2K Games recently scrubbed BioShock’s existence from the App Store. Not only is it currently unavailable for download, but people who purchased the game can’t re-download it, either. The news understandably stirred up a lot of controversy, as the port is barely a year old, and typically commanded a premium price of $14.99 USD on the App Store.

Jeff Scott of Slide to Play reached out to 2K for an answer. He was put in touch with Jaime Jensen, the Senior Communications Manager of 2K Games. According to Jensen, BioShock is coming back, but not until certain issues with iOS compatibility are fixed:

2K recently provided inaccurate information to customers surrounding removal of BioShock for iOS from the App Store. BioShock is currently incompatible with iOS versions 8.4 and higher, and as such, is temporarily removed for purchase from the App Store. 2K is fixing the compatibility issue, and when resolved, will place BioShock back on the App Store for purchase. Customers who already own BioShock may continue playing the game with iOS version 8.3 or earlier. 2K regrets the initial customer service error and looks forward to delivering an updated version of BioShock for iOS in the near future.（source：gamezebo.com ）
