游戏营销案例:World Challenge植入facebook游戏cartown

日前,美国堪萨斯州托皮卡市的世界汽车挑战赛(World Challenge)组委会在其官网上正式宣布,该组织将与加州长滩市的Cie Games公司(www.ciegames.com)联盟,把World Challenge的汽车游戏产品植入到的Cie Games在线视频游戏网站Car Town(www.cartown.com)中。如此一来,Car Town的玩家就可以在游戏中选择爱车的数码版本,并打造心中的理想车库。

World Challenge的市场通信部副主管Dave Drimmie表示,“我们很看好World Challenge植入Car Town,因为这款游戏将通过社交网站Facebook得到大力推广。事实证明,凡是通过社交网站进行推广的游戏,往往更容易招徕大批玩家。我希望这款游戏的曝光率可以持续走高,让更多汽车爱好者都来关注我们的赛事。”

World Challenge Onboard with Social Gamer Cie Games for Car Town

TOPEKA, Kan. — WC Vision has agreed to a brand integration relationship with Cie Games (www.ciegames.com), based in Long Beach, Calif., to include digital versions of World Challenge Championships cars as part of their online video game, Car Town (www.cartown.com). In the game, players of Car Town collect electronic versions of their favorite cars and create dream garages.

“We are thrilled that the World Challenge will have a place in Car Town,” Dave Drimmie, VP, Marketing and Communications, WC Vision said. “The game will have a major presence on Facebook and it’s proven that games promoted via the social networking site draw big audiences. My hope is that the game will increase exposure and draw new fans who are already car enthusiasts to World Challenge.”

The Car Town game will include a number of World Challenge race cars and a World Challenge Garage where players can go to get more information on the series and purchase cars from the series. The game will be distributed online through Facebook and will also be launched on various other mobile and social network platforms.
