Klein在博客中写道，“我们很快就会推出Layar Player这款SDK，帮助开发商创造基于增强现实技术(Augmented Reality）的iPhone应用内容……但我们并不想成为单纯的技术供应商，我们还希望能创造符合用户需求的Layar内容。”

Layar to launch SDK for iPhone app developers

Augmented reality startup Layar is planning to launch an SDK to help iPhone app developers tap into its technology.

CEO Raimo van der Klein revealed the plans in a blog post announcing Layar’s new €10 million funding round, which ME reported on last night.

“Soon, we will launch the Layar Player, an SDK that will bring Augmented Reality content to any iPhone application,” writes Klein.

“But we don’t only want to be facilitators; we also want to help users discover the Layar content that is right for them at the moment they need it.”

Klein also makes it clear that it is still early days for AR technology, despite the hype around the area.（source:mobile-ent）
