mobile-ent消息:手机游戏《怪物吃糖果》销量突破300万

日前,英国手机游戏发行商Chillingo公司宣布,《怪物吃糖果》(Cut The Rope)在苹果App Store销量超过300万份。

该游戏由俄罗斯工作室ZeptoLab开发,Chillingo对它的定位是“《愤怒鸟》接班人”,希望它能复制Rovio公司开发的畅销手机游戏《愤怒鸟》的成功模式,所以该游戏采用了类似的内容升级策略,从含有25个关卡的《怪物吃糖果》1.1版本开始,逐步推出具有更多关卡的更新版本。

Chillingo的联合总经理Chris Byatte表示,无论是在内容更新,还是游戏设置优化上,他们都很重视根据用户的反馈意见,创造出更好的游戏体验。

Chillingo’s Cut The Rope passes 3m iOS sales

Mobile games publisher Chillingo says it has now sold more than three million copies of its Cut The Rope game on Apple’s App Store.

The game, developed by ZeptoLab, has been pitched as ‘the new Angry Birds’ by Chillingo – the original publisher of Rovio’s beaky bestseller.

The company is hoping to repeat Angry Birds’ success with a similar strategy of free content updates, starting with version 1.1 of Cut The Rope, with 25 new levels and an ‘anti-gravity’ feature.

“We actively listen to audience feedback to deliver the best gaming experience possible whether it’s through updated content or modifying areas of concern to optimize the title,” says co-general manager Chris Byatte.

ZeptoLab CTO Efim Voinov says that another update will be released in time for Christmas with more new content.(source:mobile-ent)
