日前，手机配件制造商Gear4宣布推出新款iPhone手机套，该系列产品以著名手机游戏《愤怒鸟》（Angry Birds）为主题，本月起通过美国HMV商店和英国通讯公司O2发售。

首个系列的产品含《愤怒鸟》的三个造型版本，一是绿猪，二是红鸟，三是黄鸟，这些手机套仅限于苹果iPhone 4型号，可以防尘，防刮擦、指纹和碰撞。零售价是25美元，含运费和服务费。

虽然具体发售日期仍然待定，但HMV和O2网站已声明这些《愤怒鸟》手机套将在11月份上市。

《愤怒鸟》是全球最为成功的手机游戏之一，目前下载量已近1000万次，并推出了同一主题的毛绒玩具。该游戏开发商Rovio公司还声称准备推出漫画书、电视剧甚至电影等其他媒体衍生产品。

Angry Birds iPhone Cases Coming Soon
 
Phone accessories maker Gear4 today introduced a new line of iPhone cases, featuring designs from the popular game Angry Birds, available through HMV in the U.S. and O2 in the U.K. starting in November.

The first three editions of the case features the King pig, the red and the yellow birds from the best-selling mobile game, which is a perennial favorite in Apple’s App Store. The cases are only for the iPhone 4 and will protect against dust, scratches, fingerprints and bumps. They retail for $25, plus shipping and handling.

While no specific date is listed, the HMV and O2 websites currently list November as the project time frame for availability.

Angry Birds is one of the world’s most popular mobile games, selling nearly 10 million downloads worldwide. The game has inspired its own line of plush toys. The game is so popular that Angry Birds developer Rovio have publicly discussed plans for merchandise and other media, including a series of comic books, a TV series, and even an Angry Birds movie.

Soon fans will not only get to play their favorite game on their iPhones, but protect their devices with a new series of Angry Birds-branded cases as well. （source:mobiledia）
