1,Almost Human Games has just revealed the first iPad footage of their first-person dungeon-crawling RPG Legend of Grimrock. The game has been out for long enough on PC to get a sequel already, but now those of you looking to play it on the go on a device that can reasonably be used as a tablet (I own Windows tablets and they’re far inferior to iPads for use as tablets) can anticipate checking this one out this spring. Check out the footage:

Legend of Grimrock recalls classic first-person dungeon-crawlers like Ultima Underworld, as you explore dungeons with your party of characters, using a number of abilities and attacks in real-time to survive the many hazards that await you, including giant spiders. The game has been adapted to touch through virtual buttons to move and turn, swiping the gameplay portion of the screen to look, and using gestures to help cast magic spells. The PC version was
particularly well-received, so those of you looking for a serious RPG experience on the go might want to get excited for this.(source:toucharcade

2,While King of Thieves from ZeptoLab launches worldwide this week, it appears that they’re hard at work at multiple games beyond the Cut the Rope franchise they’re most well-known for. A pair of new games have appeared under a pseudonym that soft-launched King of Thieves before it was revealed as a ZeptoLab game: Survivor Squad and Slide Fight. Survivor Squad is a top-down shooter where you and 3 other players try to fight off hordes of zombies, upgrading your weapons and items to help fight off ever-more-difficult hordes. Interestingly, this one promises real-time multiplayer.

Meanwhile, Slide Fight involves launching heroes around an arena to attack other players, with each team having three heroes that they’ve upgraded and brought into battle. Now, the games haven’t been published on iTunes by ZeptoLab proper, but by “Dmitry Momzikov” – and as Gamezebo helpfully explains, King of Thieves snuck out under that name late last year without anyone having a clue about it. Check out the original soft launch forum thread for what was then
known as Thieves. Well, now that we’ve caught on to their tricks, similar art styles are also apparent. These two are looking like rather intriguing and more-involved games than many free-to-play titles out there, so definitely keep an eye on these two.(source:toucharcade.com

3,Shadow Realms will never see the light of day. In an update on the game’s official site today, BioWare Austin GM Jeff Hickman said the studio is halting development on the game.

“While the team did amazing work on the game concept and we got lots of great feedback from our fans at events and through other game testing, right now there are other projects for the team to work on within the BioWare studios for the coming year and beyond,” Hickman said, adding, “These include additional ongoing enhancements to the award-winning Dragon Age: Inquisition, as well as the next game in the Mass Effect series and other new IP.”

Despite those other projects, Hickman said the Austin studio’s focus will remain primarily with Star Wars: The Old Republic. Although the MMORPG was considered disappointing for parent company Electronic Arts after its 2011 launch, The Old Republic should receive an injection of player interest this year with the December theatrical release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Shadow Realms was being developed as an episodic PC game with “dynamic, co-operative 4 vs 1 gameplay.” It had been soliciting sign-ups for alpha testing since it was first announced during EA’s Gamescom press conference last August.(source:gamesindustry.biz
