1，Japanese developer GungHo Online has announced that from 20 October to 2 November its mobile hit Puzzle & Dragons will feature several crossovers with Rovio’s globally recognised Angry Birds series.

During the event Puzzle & Dragons players will be able to battle their way through a brand new dungeon featuring characters and monsters from Angry Birds Epic.

Players will be able to fight and collect fantasy-themed versions of their favourite Angry Birds characters, while those who missed out on the original Angry Birds collaboration will be able to turn back the clock and capture classic versions of Rovio’s famous birds.

Angry Birds Epic players will also be able to get in on the franchise-switching action.

2，Why, hello there, totally random IP crossover! In case you weren’t aware, this year marks the 30th anniversary of one of my all-time favorite movies, Ghostbusters, and apparently an appropriate way to celebrate that is with… an update to Fruit Ninja [$0.99 / Free]? Yes, it sounds weird, but that’s totally the case, and in fact it’s a really nice update for fans of both brands.

The two big new items in this update are a Ghostbusters blade and dojo, available for free to all who update. The blade acts just like the proton beams that are fired out of the Ghostbusters’ proton packs, and it’s a very cool visual effect. It also comes with a special power-up where you can “cross beams” and create an explosion of proton beams that absolutely annihilates any fruit that are foolish enough to appear on screen. This, too, is a very cool visual effect and also makes you feel like quite the bad ass.

As for the dojo, it’s a brick background that’s a clever nod to the abandoned Pneumatic Transit subway line from Ghostbusters II, and comes with the perk of ghost traps. Slice a trap that comes flying across the screen and it will unleash a huge batch of fruit. Combine the blade’s beam crossing power-up with a couple of those traps, and you’ve got yourself a serious scoring opportunity.（source：toucharcade ）

3，Back in July, Bandai Namco soft-launched their new free to play card battling game called Outcast Odyssey [Free], and as of last night the game is now officially available worldwide. While the card battling genre is quickly getting saturated on the App Store, Outcast Odyssey hopes to stand out from the pack with its emphasis on exploration and almost dungeon crawler-like gameplay. It seems to have worked too, as Outcast Odyssey has performed well in all the
countries it was available in during its soft-launch, and it has almost universally positive praise from players in our forums.

Also, Outcast Odyssey is free to play, but seems to be incredibly fair in its implementation. The only real negative I’ve seen so far is that the game requires an internet connection, which is an instant red flag for a lot of gamers, but it is what it is. 4，eRepublik Labs has announced the launch of Tactical Heroes on mobile devices, a turn-based strategy title that takes players to the planet of Eden on a quest to destroy alien invaders and reclaim the planet for human colonization. Tactical Heroes offers multiple gameplay modes, including a single player campaign and multiplayer battles, and also allows users to build their own base in between missions.

The hub of Tactical Heroes is the player’s base, which is built by balancing the use of two main currencies: Tungstite and Lithium-E. Players start with just two troops, but can utilize their barracks to recruit more rookie units. Tungstite and Lithium-E generators are also available, as well as resource storage buildings, all of which can be upgraded to increase their productivity or capacity. Players have access to a command center, an intensive care unit for reviving mortally wounded soldiers, defensive items like walls and turrets, and so on.

Users can go it alone, building and upgrading structures as they see fit, or they can follow along with the game’s quest series, which provides opportunities to earn premium currency. This currency is used to complete building, upgrading or unit healing tasks instantly, among other features.

Once players have a suitable army, they can head into battle in the single-player mode, or in multiplayer battles. These player-vs-player encounters allow users to fight for extra resources and Tactical Points. 5，Rovio has announced the launch of Angry Birds Transformers on iOS devices, alongside the release of special characters in an Angry Birds Transformers TELEPODS product line from Hasbro. The game takes place after a mysterious EggSpark crashes into Piggy Island, triggering a war between the Autobirds and Deceptihogs.

Unlike traditional Angry Birds titles, the game is more like an endless runner than a physics-based puzzle game, as users run (or drive) across the screen, destroying Deceptihog strongholds as they go.

In Angry Birds Transformers, players complete level-based missions as classic Angry Birds characters, which have been transformed into vehicles, or Autobirds. The character runs across the screen automatically, and players tap on Deceptihog strongholds in the scene’s background to shoot at and destroy them.

Strongholds may be made of wood, glass, stone or other materials, so users are challenged with targeting the proper section of the defenses to cause the most damage in the shortest amount of time. Thankfully, many strongholds contain TNT crates, which can cause massive damage instantly.

Eventually, Deceptihog units will begin to fire back, so players must complete levels without running out of health. Plus, Autobirds can transform into their vehicle forms, which must be done to avoid falling objects in some stages. 6，Microsoft announced a new top-down Halo spinoff today for PC and mobile: Halo: Spartan Strike. Developed by 343 Industries and Vanguard Games, Spartan Strike will arrive on Windows 8 devices and Steam on December 12 for $6. Spartan Strike bears strong resemblance to the developers’ other third-person shooter that launched in July 2013, Halo: Spartan Assault, though it is not a direct sequel.

Rather, the upcoming shooter is set during the events of Halo 2 and has players guiding a Spartan through cities, jungles and other environments while using an “all-new arsenal of weapons, abilities and vehicles” such as the series’ popular Warthog vehicle.
