传言称Steve Jobs所说的战略方向可能是一家大型的游戏公司，而索尼公司或者美国艺电就是其中的两个潜在的收购目标。

补充：关于sony也进入并购传闻的确很疯狂，新加坡海峡时报评述称sony还是有可能成为并购对象的，索尼去年亏损额达到408亿日元（6.53亿美元），市值也仅为400亿美元，该估值对于apple来讲是完全有可能吃进的，apple现在的现金流有510亿美元。sony目前已经不再是大到不能倒的情况了。

Last week at an investor call, Apple head Steve Jobs hinted that the company might be looking into some possible acquisitions with its $51 billion in the bank.

“We strongly believe that one or more very strategic opportunities may come along, that we can take, that we’re in a unique position to take advantage of because of our strong cash position,” he said. “So I think that we would like to continue to keep our powder dry because we do feel that there are one or more strategic opportunities in the future.”

Rumors have surfaced on the U.S. stock market this week, saying that Apple may be looking to purchase a gaming company, with Sony and EA as two possible targets.
