该报告表示,在2007年7月份的时候印度在线社交网络用户大约为3300万,同比增长43%。而在2009年印度移动社交网络用户为1000万左右,仅占印度手机拥有数的2.2%。

Analysys Mason claims 72m people there will be doing it by 2014
By 2014, 72 million people in India will be using mobile social networking services, according to a new report from Analysys Mason.
It claims that there were around 10 million in 2009, which was just 2.2% of total mobile subscribers in India.
“Innovative data tariff plans and the significant reduction in data charges are driving adoption of data-based services such as social networking,” says the report’s author Sourabh Kaushal.
“Operators are launching services such as pay-per-site tariffs and are expected to promote social networking applications to drive adoption of data services among their subscribers.”
Young people and young professionals accounted for 70% of Indian mobile social networking users in 2009, according to Analysys Mason. The gender split was 56% male and 44% female.(source:mobile-ent)
