对于zynga来讲，facebook线上的社交游戏大部分处在下滑的尴尬处境中。作为zynga今年推出的第二款超级社交游戏FrontierVille一个月的时间创造了2000万的活跃用户，从500万到2000万仅仅只用了24天的时间。

FrontierVille推出于6月9日，据称包括了诸多网页游戏的特征在内。据称至今为止，FrontierVille内已经有6330万用户创建了小茅屋，230万用户在游戏中结婚，110万用户在游戏中有小孩，2亿5200万条蛇被打死。

今年zynga推出的第一款超级社交游戏是Treasure Isle，也是单月创造了2000万活跃用户的奇迹，最高峰达到2800万水准，不过目前已经回落到1900万的水准。

zynga今年推出的这两款游戏都创造出这么好的效果值得开发者深思。

FarmVille creator Zynga has announced that its newest game, FrontierVille, has skyrocketed past the 20 million-user mark in just over a month.

In fact, the game jumped from 5 million users to 20 million users in just 24 days.

FrontierVille launched on June 9th as an Oregon Trail-style game. It featured many of FarmVille’s game mechanics but added other features, such as the ability to control multiple avatars (your FrontierVille family) on one screen.

In addition to announcing the 20 million-user milestone, Zynga also released some in-game stats. Since the game began, 6.3 million people have built cabins, 2.3 million people have gotten married, 1.1 million users have kids and 252 million snakes have been “clobbered” in FrontierVille.

While FarmVille has seen wild success, Zynga has had to diversify. It struck a deal with Yahoo in May to bring its games onto the InternetInternetInternet portal. More recently, it was revealed that Zynga games are coming to GoogleGoogleGoogle in a new product called Google Games.

Zynga can’t rely on FarmVille alone for its revenue; the flagship game’s traffic has been slowly dwindling. Thus, it needs other games like FrontierVille to succeed and take FarmVille’s place.
