Hi5的广告业务副总裁蒙迪·克尔（Monty Kerr）表示，“虽然现在还不能看出SocioPay的成效，但我们希望SocioPay可以让Hi5平台的社交游戏的收益，比采用其他社交网站传统广告、消费勘察等方案的游戏多200%到300%的收益。”

Hi5 Launches SocioPay Monetization Platform

Social networking site Hi5 has launched SocioPay, a monetization platform that it expects to increase revenues for participating social games by as much as 300 percent over traditional commerce and lead generation offers.

SocioPay is designed to dynamically determine “the optimal monetization solution for every commerce opportunity”, such as identifying players who are less likely to make purchases, then providing ad offers instead of traditional payment options to those users.

“While results are still early, we expect SocioPay to increase revenue in social games by 200 to 300 percent over traditional commerce and lead-generation offers found on other social networks,” says Hi5′s Commer and Advertising VP Monty Kerr.

Kerr adds, “The key innovation is that SocioPay extends beyond the hi5 platform; allowing developers to see dramatically increased revenue wherever their social games are distributed – even on other social networks.”

The technology will complement the company’s upcoming release of a new version for SocioPath, which Hi5 describes as a platform enabling developers to “liberate social games from their dependence on social networks through viral audience acquisition”.

SocioPath’s new version allows users to access over 100 Hi5 platform social games directly on its site without needing a user account or registration. The firm will launch SocioPath’s new version and demonstrate SocioPay at the Game Developers Conference next week. （source:gamasutra）
