据socialtimes报道，仅次于NTT Docomo的日本第二大运营商KDDI日前与FourSquare结成了合作伙伴关系，将在其运营的新款Android手机产品中植入FourSquare服务。

游戏邦获悉，尽管FourSquare并未正式宣布这项合作，但FourSquare临时CEO丹尼斯·克劳利（Dennis Crowley）已表态，公司希望通过与KDDI的紧密合作，为日本用户提供更良好的服务体验。

他表示，东京已成为世界第二大地理签到城市，FourSquare在日本越来越受到欢迎，他们希望通过与KDDI公司的合作，让用户方便快捷地体验FourSquare功能，与好友分享新的服务体验。

KDDI Agrees To Include FourSquare In New Japanese Android Devices

KDDI, Japan’s second largest carrier after NTT Docomo, has entered into a partnership with FourSquare to promote and support FourSquare’s expansion in Japan.

FourSquare has not officially announced this move yet. However, Dennis Crowley, FourSquare’s interim CEO has stated that FourSquare is looking to work closely with KDDI to offer better service to their Japanese users. According to Dennis:

As seen on Tokyo is the second most checked-in city around the world, Foursquare is getting popular in Japan. In such market, we are hoping to gain more recognition on our service by co-working with KDDI to provide easier access opportunities to customers, starting with providing a shortcut to the application. By these, Japanese customers will get new experiences and share this service with their friends.

KDDI is in the process of shipping Android based IS04, IS05 and IS06 handsets that will be manufactured by Toshiba, Sharp and Pantech respectively. What Dennis really meant when he said “starting with providing shortcut to the application” is that these new Android devices from KDDI will have default shortcuts to FourSquare service.

Such a default access to millions of KDDI subscribers means that FourSquare is about to explode in Japan.（source:socialtimes）
