这8款即将登陆OpenFeint的Android版本游戏包括：《Jet Car Stunts》（True Axis公司出品）、《Frogger》（Konami公司出品）、《Bomberman Dojo》（Hudson公司出品）、《Must. Eat. Birds》（Mediatonic公司出品）、《Solipskier》（Milkengreg公司出品）、《Word Mix》（Greenrift公司出品）、《Kilgamore Castle》（Hyperbees公司出品）、《aTilt 3D Labyrinth》（FridgeCat Software公司出品）。

OpenFeint公司首席执行官Jason Citron表示，这些游戏是他们面向Android投放的一些最出色作品，它们在iOS上创造了数百万的下载量，所以也应该会受到Android用户的欢迎。

OpenFeint tops 8 million downloads on Android as its games roster passes 100

Having already passed the 100 games mark in terms of support for its gaming social network on the platform, OpenFeint is lining up eight new releases for Android in time for Thanksgiving.

The company claims developers have a further 300-enabled games in progress.

The new releases – which OpenFeint is billing as its most important additions to date – can be taken as a mark of the confidence the company has in its presence on Android.

Indeed, the company reports 8 million OpenFeint-enabled games have been downloaded on Android to date – a download rate that gives the network a vital foothold outside of iOS.

Games and glory

In bound are Jet Car Stunts from True Axis, Konami’s Frogger, Bomberman Dojo by Hudson, Must. Eat. Birds from Mediatonic, Milkengreg’s Solipskier, Greenrift’s Word Mix, Kilgamore Castle by Hyperbees and aTilt 3D Labyrinth from FridgeCat Software.

“This is one of the most impressive set of games we’ve helped bring to the Android community,” says Jason Citron, CEO of OpenFeint.

“These games have generated millions of downloads on iOS, so we’re excited to see Android players gobble them up.”

The majority of said players – according to OpenFeint’s own stats – come from North America, although that platform also claims to have garnered scores of users in Asia and Europe, with downloads spread across six continents in all.
